The engine crashes with the underground example. The island demo is pretty awesome. Reminds me Crysis. I was able to render @ 30-80 fps with 1,5 to 2 millions poly per frame with a GF 9600GT! I hope leadwerks sandbox will stay in the same line(features side) as cryTek sandbox. At last having a Road/river tools, Scripting capabilities (graphical nodes will do best like cryEngine2 flowgraphs) and a timeline editor to make in game cinematics. Again, tumbs up! This engine will become very popular in the future. PS: I hope a fix will be avaible in a near future to test the underground level. ++

Version 2.12 works perfect for me, underground and island demos runs very fast and smooth. Great work. Something that i liked a lot, is your volumetric light scattering, it will render all the time, facing or not the sun, in cryEngine the volume light will fade out if your not facing the sun, that not very realistic. For your futures demos, try to get textures with better quality, more variation for the rocks and your mountains, differents kind of grass and trees, bushes? Leadwerks engine 2 has lot, but lot of power, i have never see an indie engine with the kind of power and features that LE2 have.

I like the light scatter too albeit very expensive. Some people have said the opposite about the light scatter too... I dunno why they do but meh..

It is possible to discard the "dark" beams although they are physically correct. Think of the beams as shadows cast onto misty air, and it makes sense.

Yes, i notice that leadwerks render thoses beams correctly. In cryEngine2, the lens shader are not correct, cause you have to face the sun or being in a 90 frustum angle towards the sun to see thoses beams, in real life, i think that it have to be visible from any angle(facing the sun or not).

You can't actually program with it, it's missing some tools, and the included apps will stop working after 30 days.

Problem with Sandbox, on a French keyboard, the keys are all all wrong, why don't you use a system function to read the keyboard, so it will work on all type of keyboard? Also, does the buyers of your engine gets the Sandbox source code? Because it is an interesting tool, that could be upgraded to whatever the developer want to add into.
Thanks

Everything crashes for me. The tools and demos all just come up with the typical app.exe has stopped working error. I'm running on a laptop with the following specs: Windows Vista Business 32bit Intel Core2 Duo 2.2GHz ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT 4GB RAM

The first thing I would do is update your drivers.
